Why don’t people turn up to events?

Have you ever found yourself inspired to book to attend a free event and then just not turned up?

Have you ever said you would go to a party or meet some friends and then not bothered to go?

If you have done this on more than one occasion have you ever questioned why?

The reason for this is that there is a part of your subconscious thinking that may be trying to sabotage your life.

This is especially true if the event has anything to do with  having fun or learning something  that might challenge your existing circumstances.

Don’t worry - you are not alone!

Statistics show that at least 30-40% of people who accept an invitation or say they will go to an event, don’t turn up.

Often these people will find very good reasons for not going -blaming it on  a variety of circumstance , hoping their absence won’t cause offence.

Well  - people do mind!  But more importantly YOU should mind!

You are allowing circumstances to run your life and it is likely that your life is not what you want it to be.

The event you failed to turn up to or the meeting with friends you chose not to go to may well have changed your circumstances -  your subconscious knows that.  Your subconscious likes the old way of thinking and wants to retain the status quo.  It therefore creates circumstances in your mind that sabotage you taking the opportunity to experience new things and maybe having fun.  Your subconscious may have an issue with commitment and this is what is keeping you stuck.

To  discover what triggers this sabotaging behaviour and how to change your life you need a new way of thinking.  BST will give you a new way of thinking   which will lead you towards a new way of life.
